Upcoming conference streams on sustainability transformation and work

During 2023–2024 I am employed in a research project titled Towards post-fossil working life. Project Director Suvi Salmenniemi and I presented the preliminary results of the project at the WORK 2023 international conference in Turku. We presented in a stream on climate change and work. The title of the presentation was, quite fittingly, “Towards post-fossil working life: ecologically and socially sustainable work in an era of sustainability disruption”. The presentation was based on interviews with 15 Climate Leadership Coalition member companies.

The WORK 2023 conference featured two working groups on work and ecology, which was a welcome situation for the project. It was important to hear about the research of others on these topics and to discuss the findings and next steps of our own project.
